The Fieldbus Foundation has released an alpha version of its High Speed Ethernet (HSE) Testing Kit. The kit is intended for testing HSE linking devices, which are critical components of the HSE architecture, connecting subsystems of HI (31.25 kbit/s) devices to the 100 Mbit/s HSE backbone.
Ethernet-based host systems can configure and monitor these linking device subsystems as well as other HSE-based equipment. For more information, visit the foundation's Website at www.fieldbus.org.
