The German petrochemical industry can leverage its advantage in technology to secure modest growth in exports to emerging markets in 2010, according to a recent report from BMI. However, the EU remains its largest market for German producers, and BMI is not optimistic about its prospects. BMI believes output will grow at a modest rate of 4.5% and sales by 5.0%.
