Alfa Laval to supply heat exchangers for Morocco fertilizer producer

Heat transfer, centrifugal separation and fluid handling company Alfa Laval has won an order to supply Alfa Laval plate heat exchangers to a fertilizer producer in Morocco. Delivery is scheduled to start during 2012 and be finalized in 2014. The plate heat exchangers will be used in a cooling process.

The order value is approximately Swedish Krona (SEK) 75 million, or about $11 million based on current conversion rates.

Delivery is scheduled to start during 2012 and be finalized in 2014.

The Alfa Laval plate heat exchangers will be used in a cooling process in the production of phosphate based fertilizer.

“This is another order for our reliable heat exchangers which confirms our leading position within heat transfer”, says Lars Renström, CEO of the Alfa Laval Group.
