Asahi Kasei opens plastics sales office in Mexico

Asahi Kasei Plastics is commemorating its 12-year anniversary with the opening of a new sales office in Mexico, in which it hopes to further expand the company’s global presence. Asahi Kasei Plastics says it is expanding worldwide with new facilities, distributorships and license agreements.

The new facility is strategically located in the Metepec Business Center of Toluca supplementing the firm's four warehouses in San Luis Potosi, Puebla, Torreon and Monterrey, according to the company.

"The objective of the sales office in Mexico is to provide closer attention and faster response to local customer needs," said Victor H. Mora, sales manager for Mexico.

"Celebrating 12 years of growth with a new facility in Mexico accentuates our commitment to growing our global footprint," added John Moyer, president of Asahi Kasei Plastics.

Asahi Kasei Plastics says it is expanding worldwide with new facilities, distributorships and license agreements to provide local service and support to global customers.

"Opening an office in Mexico is a strategic move for our company,” said Ramesh Iyer, vice president of commercial operations.

"Providing a high level of service is a top priority and this move will facilitate our ability to better serve our clients in the region."
