MILAN, Italy -- The agenda for the 2012 International Refining and Petrochemical Conference began on
Tuesday, June 12, and extends through Thursday, June 14.
This year, IRPC features more than 40 presentations with
special focus on the topics of heavy oil, hydrogen, environment/safety, energy
efficiency, petrochemical/refinery integration and biofuels/clean fuels.

The IRPC event was held at Europe's largest convention center,
the MiCo Milano Congressi.
Over 500 attendees were registered by Day 1 at
John Royall, CEO of Gulf Publishing Company, greeted IRPC
eni's Giacomo Rispoli spoke about the need for new refining technologies in Europe.
Michael Lane, Secretary General of CONCAWE, discussed European safety performance.
