Liquefied natural gas (LNG), the fastest-growing sector of today’s gas business, is adding to the diversity of energy supplies across the globe. By some estimates, LNG now accounts for more than 10% of the world’s gas resources and more than 25% of all internationally traded gas (Fig. 1).
