Tesoro reports small fire at California refinery

A Tesoro spokeswoman said the fire didn't cause any injuries or damage any equipment. The incident won't interfere with Tesoro's supply commitments, the spokeswoman said.

SAN ANTONIO -- A small fire was quickly put out at Tesoro Corp's Martinez, California, refinery, according to a filing with the Contra Costa County health department.

The fire at the 166,000 bpd refinery was put out within 10 minutes, the filing states.

A Tesoro spokeswoman said the fire didn't cause any injuries or damage any equipment. The incident won't interfere with Tesoro's supply commitments, the spokeswoman said.

Fire department is effecient enough to put off fire without equipment damage or injury.
Emergency response team is very quick to react and save all type of losses which is commendable, however case evaluation is difficult due to minimum information declared by the authorities.
