Cansolv Technologies, a leader in gas treating and sulphur dioxide (SO2) and carbon dioxide (CO2) recovery technologies, has re-branded its company as Shell Cansolv, the company said on Tuesday.

Cansolv officials said the Shell brand is a symbol of innovation, disciplined delivery and operational performance. They added that by building on this foundation, Shell Cansolv now sports a fresh new identity -- one the company believes will see it through future decades.

“Our new name better positions our company to serve the gas treating and sulphur recovery technology industry with an expanded service offering,” said Philippe Gauthier, president and GM of Shell Cansolv. “With the world of business in constant motion, we are excited about the role we can take in differentiating ourselves and becoming a partner of choice for our customers."

“This is not a logo change; it’s a successful culture change," said Stéphane Charest, general manager of business development for Shell Cansolv.

"Leading companies constantly reinvent themselves to remain competitive, and while we’ve been building these brand attributes in the background over the past months, we’re now ready to bring these to the forefront for all to see."
