Consider single-point responsibility for compressors

Equipment purchasers are always interested in meeting the cost and schedule targets for projects. However, there could be conflicting goals when purchasing compressor drivers and/or auxiliaries from vendors other than the compressor manufacturer. While cost targets may be initially met, missed schedules and future warranty disputes present risks that must be considered. It is worth noting what experienced owner-purchasers do to avoid these conflicts.

It is good to provide one point responsibility provided driver you want is offer by compressor company and detail discussion with driver provider is agreed with both compressor vendor and river supplier. I have normally purchased compressor and river form single supplier .Most of time it worked but once or twice High Voltage motor gave serious problem and buying with single responsibility created problem.If client wants to buy driver directly then client becomes general contractor and must be ready have technical and contractual talent within organization to handle two separate contract.
