Toyo to build new LNG regasification plant in India
Toyo-India is slated to lead EPC work on a turnkey basis, from engineering to construction and commissioning. The plant is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2016.
Toyo Engineering has been awarded a project
for a new regasification
plant with a send-out capacity of 5 million tons, the company
announced on Monday.
The plant is to be constructed by GSPC LNG Ltd. (GLL) at
Mundra in Gujarat State on the west coast of India

turnkey basis, from engineering to construction
The plant is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2016.
GLL is a joint venture mainly anchored by GSPC (Gujarat State
Petroleum Corp.), which is involved in the exploration and
production (E&P) of oil and gas.
In this case, the venture aims to establish an LNG receiving,
storage and regasification terminal.
For Toyo, this award follows on from the expansion project
for Petronet LNG at Dahej,
Gujarat State, which was presented to Toyo recently.
To meet the growing demand for natural gas for electricity
and fertilizer, more than 10 additional LNG import terminals
are now planned to be built in India
Toyo says it plans to actively develop its business
activities in the country, striving to secure orders for
LNG-receiving terminal projects as well as fertilizer project
s using gas as feedstock
