The Organization of American States (OAS) has released a report analyzing Latin American and Caribbean cyber security trends and government responses. Prepared in collaboration with the company Trend Micro, the report looks at cyber security and cyber crime trends in the region. The document contains detailed information on cyber threats in the Americas, and for the first time incorporates the perspectives and experiences of OAS member state governments. The report contains vital information not only for citizens of OAS countries, but also for companies that do business there, especially those in the hydrocarbon processing industry.
