Alfa Laval, Richmond, Virginia, a world leading manufacturer of compact heat exchangers, has acquired Vicarb S.A., a French manufacturer and supplier of compact heat exchangers. The merger of the two companies allows Alfa Laval to expand its product portfolio with new welded heat exchangers. It will also broaden Alfa Laval's production capabilities and sales coverage in the North American heat exchanger market.
