Fueling station availability and fuel price represent key constraints in the expansion of the natural gas powered vehicle (NGV) market. The Gas Research Institute has prepared a report providing information on the location and type of NGV fueling stations and the expected price of compressed natural gas (CNG) and liquefied natural gas (LNG) at the public retail stations. Government databases indicate consistent distribution for CNG stations; about 55% of all stations offer at least limited public access. About 10% offer full unrestricted public access.
