An optimistic outlook from the Hydraulic Institute, Parsippany, New Jersey, forecasts that "an Asian recovery will help push worldwide pump sales to more than $22 billion in 2003." Important industry applications include wastewater reclamation and reuse, combined cycle power generation and leak prevention. Other conclusions from this analysis: The Asian pump market will see the fastest growth, despite its current financial turmoil.
