The latest Chemical Industries Association (CIA) Responsible Care survey on health, safety and environmental (HS&E) performance during 1999 shows that the association's Responsible Care program continues to successfully drive performance improvement in the UK chemical industry. The 1999 survey, covering the tenth year of reporting, was completed by 318 member sites, representing 95% of the association's members' manufacturing sites.
