Akzo Nobel invests in two coatings sites in China
Akzo began work on two new plants in China - an
investment of Euro 25 million - which will give its coatings
businesses enhanced access to this strategic
market.
These investments are expected to strengthen Akzo
Nobel's position in China and enable them to respond to
market demands quickly and flexibly. The facilities will also
serve as a platform for further expansion of regional
activities. Both projects are planned to be completed before
July 2001.
The site in Suzhou will house three of Akzo Nobel
Coatings' core businesses: car refinishes, powder coatings
and transportation coa
