Catalytica Energy Systems, Mountain View, California, is selling substantially all of the assets used by Catalytica NovoTec a non-energy-related subsidiary. The new company, NovoDynamics, Inc., will operate independently from Catalytica Energy Systems. Its focus will be data mining, informatics discovery, and high throughput synthesis and testing technologies to enhance product and process discovery in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries.
