United Electric Controls (UE), Watertown, Massachusetts, a threshold detection and switching products manufacturer, is acquiring series 360 and 460 compact stainless steel pressure switches and pressure transmitters from Artisan Technologies, Parsippany, New Jersey. Reportedly, the two series are being added to improve product offerings. Applications include safety and monitoring systems on offshore platforms, oil and gas exploration, pipeline and delivery systems.
