The liquid redox technology is a firmly established
method since the 1920s. The most widely used method is the
"iron redox" process or the "chelated-iron" process; it
efficiently removes sulfur in the form of hydrogen sulfide
(H2S) from sour-gas streams. Typical processing
applications include natural gas and associated-gas
processing plants, refinery-fuel gas and more.
