Alstom has two separate orders for a total of four GT35C power generation sets. The orders were placed by Bechtel International Inc. and the units will be incorporated into a new LNG facility at Idku, east of Alexandria, Egypt. Bechtel is constructing multiple 3,600,000 metric tpy liquefied natural gas trains for Egyptian LNG, British Gas, Gaz de France, Edison International, Egyptian General Petroleum Corp. and the Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Co. venture.
