Freeport LNG Development, L.P. and Technip USA Corp., a Technip subsidiary, have a contract for front-end engineering design (FEED). The agreement will lead to finalizing the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract for its LNG receiving terminal to be located on Quintana Island near Freeport, Texas. The FEED is scheduled to be completed late 2003 with the EPC phase beginning in first-quarter 2004. Terms were not disclosed. Dow Polyurethanes increased its production capacity for Vornaol Voractive polyols. The company converted a portion of its conventional polyol production at its Freeport, Texas, manufacturing site. Capacity was increased from 80 million to 580 million lbs
