  US energy bill could skirt MTBE For the fourth time in five years, President George W. Bush has urged Congress to pass a comprehensive energy bill. This year, Mr. Bush's aggressive call for congressional action was more focused than last year's simple mention of energy issues: "My budget provides strong funding for leading-edge technology – from hydrogen-fueled cars, to clean coal, to renewable resources."
