CB&I has a lump-sum turnkey EPC contract with Valero Energy Corp. to engineer and construct a new amine regeneration unit (ARU), a sulfur recovery unit (SRU) and a new tail gas treating unit (TGTU) at Valero's refinery in Houston, Texas. Contract value was not disclosed. CB&I's work scope includes designing, fabricating and constructing a 600-gpm ARU, a 165-ltpd air-based SRU and a Resulf TGTU. The SRU will be equipped with CB&I's Oxygen Injection technology to provide redundant sulfur capacity for the refinery. Mechanical completion is expected by mid-2006.
