Toyo Engineering Corp. (TOYO) has a contract for the implementation phase of a new ethylene cracker with Shell Eastern Petroleum (Pte) Ltd. (SEPL) to be located on Bukom Island, Singapore. TOYO entered into a joint venture with ABB Lummus Global to construct the 800,000-tpy cracker. It will be integrated with the Bukom refinery to provide SEPL a petrochemical complex that is more competitive with leading crackers in the Asia-Pacific region. Under contract terms, TOYO will supply engineering, procurement service and construction management service.
