An overwhelming majority of US oil and gas investors (81%) support "green" energy investments, according to a recent survey by Deloitte & Touche LLP. Approximately one-third of investors believe companies need to pursue strategies to diversify sources of oil and gas reserves. In addition, the results of the random survey of owners of oil and gas stocks revealed that nearly 40% believe companies should invest in or increase investment in liquefied natural gas (LNG).
