Dahua Group Ltd. has a licensing agreement with GE Energy to use its gasification technology at a chemical production facility. It will be utilized to expand Dahua Group's plant in Dalian, Liaoning, China, which already has one GE gasification system in operation. The newest gasification unit will provide approximately 2.1 million standard cubic meters per day of syngas (carbon monoxide and hydrogen) to produce ammonia. GE's agreement scope for the Dalian project also includes preparing a process design package, technical service for operator training, pre-commissioning and startup support, as well as supplying a feed injector and quench ring.
