CB&I has a contract with Golden Pass LNG Terminal LLC to engineer, procure, fabricate and construct a liquefied natural gas (LNG) import terminal located near Sabine Pass, Texas. Contract value is in excess of $1 billion. CB&I has complete responsibility for the terminal, which will have an import capacity to process 15.6 million tpy of LNG, which is equivalent to approximately 2 billion cfd of natural gas. The project includes two ship unloading berths; five full-containment LNG storage tanks, each with a 155,000 m3 capacity; a regasification and sendout system; and related ancillary buildings and systems.
