Aker Kvaerner Process Systems has a contract with Reliance Industries Ltd. to design and deliver a monoethylenglycol (MEG) reclamation system for Reliance's KG-D6 gas project. Total estimated contract value for Aker Kvaerner is approximately $25 million. Project scope includes providing engineering services, technical services, license agreement and supplying key equipment. The MEG technology developed by Aker Kvaerner will condition the MEG at the onshore facility by removing water, salts and other undesirable constituents, enabling continuous reuse of the MEG in a closed loop.
