Field diagnostics conform to NAMUR NE-107. One of the features that future Foundation host systems will have to conform to is the advanced field diagnostics presentation capabilities that the Foundation is developing per the NAMUR NE-107 specification. NAMUR recognizes that the diagnostic information from one protocol is represented one way, while diagnostic information from another protocol is presented another way.
