Dr. Alexander Horch has been named as the new head of development at HIMA Paul Hildebrandt GmbH. He will continue to develop HIMA’s safety automation leadership, including further developing and integrating functional safety expertise to reflect industry-wide issues such as the Industrial Internet and cyber security. Dr. Horch comes to HIMA from ABB, where he worked in various management roles in process control technology and the automation of electrical networks, smart grids and industrial and manufacturing plants from 2007 to 2016.
