The map shows a global market share analysis of new projects over the past three years. Since 2016, the Asia-Pacific region has accounted for the highest market share of newly announced projects. Multiple emerging countries in the region are building downstream infrastructure to meet rising demand. Within the past two months, new projects announcements have reached their highest mark in more than a year. The majority of these projects reside in the Asia-Pacific and US gas processing and petrochemical sectors. The Asia-Pacific region leads the overall active project market share, followed by the Middle East and the US. HP Market share analysis of new projects, May 2015–present
