Peter Vanacker has assumed the role of President and CEO of Neste Corp., succeeding Matti Lievonen, who will retire.

Peter Vanacker has assumed the role of President and CEO of Neste Corp., succeeding Matti Lievonen, who will retire. Mr. Vanacker joined Neste in September after working as the CEO and Managing Director of CABB Group GmbH, a leading globally active fine and specialty chemicals company. Prior to CABB, Vanacker had a long career in various executive positions at Bayer, where he was responsible for the global polyurethanes business and significant investment projects. The Supervisory Board of BASF SE has extended the appointment of BASF board member Michael Heinz until the end of the Annual Shareholders’ Meeting in 2024.
