US markets weakened despite positive performance at the middle of the barrel due to considerable gasoil and jet/kero inventory drawdowns. Product markets in Europe recovered from the slump in the previous month. Middle distillate cracks soared due to declining inventory levels attributed to delays in refinery restarts after maintenance. Asian product markets weakened as gasoline cracks deteriorated to record lows.
