Anadarko Petroleum Corp. has reached a full agreement with CCS JV, a JV between Chiyoda, McDermott and Saipem, for the development of its Mozambique Area 1 LNG terminal.

AFRICA Anadarko Petroleum Corp. has reached a full agreement with CCS JV, a JV between Chiyoda, McDermott and Saipem, for the development of its Mozambique Area 1 LNG terminal. The project consists of two liquefaction trains, with a total installed capacity of 12.88 MMtpy, along with associated utilities and infrastructure. McDermott and Saipem will lead the project management, engineering and procurement duties, as well as onsite construction management. Chiyoda will provide advisory services for the JV. Tanzania has announced that its long-delayed onshore LNG export terminal is expected to begin construction in 2022. Located in the Lindi region of southeast Tanzania, the $30-B, 10-MMtpy
