In the US, soaring gasoline stocks and poor fuel oil performance were offset by strong heating oil demand and higher product prices caused by weather-related refinery outages. European product markets weakened as arbitrage openings pressured margins and outweighed support from a pickup in diesel and fuel oil demand. In Asia, weakening naphtha and jet/kerosine markets dragged down margins.
