TechnipFMC has begun construction on Assiut National Oil Processing Co.’s new hydrocracking complex in Egypt.

AFRICA TechnipFMC has begun construction on Assiut National Oil Processing Co.’s new hydrocracking complex in Egypt. The facility will consists of several new processing units. The capital-intensive investment will enable the Assiut refinery to increase the production of ultra-low-sulfur fuels, such as Euro 5 diesel. ASIA-PACIFIC Lummus Technology was awarded a technology licensing contract from Kingfa Science and Technology Co. Ltd. for two new propane dehydrogenation (PDH) units.
