Refinery starts jet kerosene exports

Sinopec-SK Wuhan Petrochemical Corp, a joint venture between China’s Sinopec and South Korea’s SK Innovation, has acquired a crude oil import license from the Chinese commerce ministry and started to export jet kerosene, Sinopec said in a statement.

The JV, launched in 2013 and expanded in July this year, has a crude oil processing capacity of 8.5 million tons per year (170,000 barrels per day) and ethylene production capacity of 800,000 tons per year.
