2020 Catalyst Market Brand Report Now Available

The global catalyst market is forecast to expand significantly over the next several years. According to various industry reports, global catalyst demand is expected to increase from approximately $25 billion in 2018 to more than $35 billion by the mid-2020s. Hydrocarbon Processing's Construction Boxscore Database is tracking more than $1.4 trillion in processing capacity projects around the world. The significant increase in new petrochemical and refining capacity is being led by an increase in petrochemical products and refined fuels demand globally, particularly for the production of low- and ultra-low-sulfur fuels. In turn, the demand for catalysts—to assist in these necessary reactions—will increase significantly.

Hydrocarbon Processing recently completed a market survey pertaining to the perception and image of the top catalysts suppliers. The survey gathered responses from 730 respondents in the HPI, with over 53% directly involved in the purchase of catalysts or related services.

The respondents answered branding questions relating to:
•   Brand familiarity
•   "Top-of-mind" suppliers of catalysts, services and solutions
•   Characteristics associated with top brands
•   Relative importance of these characteristics to buyers
•   Images associated with the top brands.

The survey also included marketing questions such as:
•   What sources of information are important to you when selecting catalysts or related services?
•   Do technical articles about catalysts provide more interest for buyers?

The results of this survey are available in Hydrocarbon Processing's 2020 Catalyst Market Brand Report. This report also includes an updated forecast of the catalyst sector and the industry at large.

Cost for the PDF: $3,500 net.
