Bearings resist heat and wear
Made from a new and patented material, WearComp bushings and bearings are being used to extend drill time in the well and maintain production equilibrium in downstream processing operations.
These new bushing and bearing materials combine two ingredients with natural lubricity graphite fibers and a specially formulated polyimide resin. The reinforcing fibers provide strength and dimensional stability that permit usage in continuous temperatures of 550°F.
The material is resistant to corrosion, exhibits high tensile and impact strength, and is claimed to last longer than greased aluminum bronze in heavy moving part applicati
