The worldwide magnetic flowmeter market is expected to show solid growth over the next several years. Worldwide sales of magnetic flowmeters totaled $574 million in 2000 and are projected to grow to $716 million in 2005. This represents a 4.5%/yr growth rate, says a recent study from Flow Research and Ducker Worldwide. The study finds that magnetic flowmeters generate more revenues worldwide than any other type of flowmeter.
