The ARC Advisory Group (Dedham, Massachusetts) held its Manufacturing Strategies Forum, February 11 and 12 in Orlando, Florida. This was an excellent meeting to learn about high-level process and business automation strategies. Key performance indicators (KPIs) were a popular subject. Peter Martin, VP and Chief Marketing Officer, Invensys Process Systems, stated that we need to move from concentrating on solving technology problems to solving business problems.
