Clean fuels plant undergoes testings
The US Department of Energy (DOE) has dedicated a facility that is pioneering a new generation of ultra-clean transportation fuels. The aim is "to significantly reduce tailpipe emissions from cars, trucks and buses," according to that agency.
Designed and constructed under the Ultra-Clean Fuels Program, managed by DOE's Energy Technology Laboratory, the newly constructed natural gas-to-liquids demonstration facility near Tulsa, Oklahoma, is scheduled to begin production this month. It will produce approximately 4,000 g
