Akzo Nobel will invest €26 million in two chemical businesses. Capacity will be increased at its ethylene amines production facility in Stenungsund, Sweden, and a new plant in Skoghall, Sweden, to manufacture water treatment chemicals will be constructed. The expansion project in Stenungsund is already underway and will boost ethylene amine yearly production capacity to 75,000 tons by late 2006. The Skoghall facility, scheduled for startup in late 2005, will manufacture 35,000 tpy of ferric chloride. Foster Wheeler Energy Ltd., a Foster Wheeler Ltd. subsidiary, has a contract with Preem Petroleum AB, Sweden, to study fuel oil upgrading at its Gothenburg and Lysekil
