New research from Purvin & Gertz analyzes demand for refined products in the context of emerging trends in biofuels, alternative fuels, vehicle preference and government mandates. Key conclusions of the recently released study (www.purvingertz.com): For the third year in a row, high prices slowed growth in demand for refined products worldwide. Consumption declined in many countries in 2007 and was stagnant in many others. However, refined product demand growth continued in China, the Middle East and other regions.
