Burckhardt Compression will deliver three process gas compressors to LUKOIL for its refinery-upgrade project in Volgograd, Russia. The compressors will be used as hydrogen-makeup compressors in the diesel-fuel hydrofining unit. This specific process requires dry-running technology knowledge and experience with the operating conditions, as well as high reliability and availability of the equipment offered. The company’s process gas compressors, which are manufactured according to API 618 5th edition and include the latest state-of-the-art technology, will be delivered in mid-2011.
