Honeywell will maintain control systems for Sasol CTL complex Honeywell Process Solutions (HPS) has signed a five-year agreement to support Sasol’s synthetic fuels and chemicals facility in Secunda, South Africa. The company will provide diagnostic system monitoring, automated incident management, technical assistance, parts management, site-based support and ongoing system upgrades for the facility through its Assurance 360 multi-year, cooperative service arrangements program. The Secunda facility, the world’s largest coal-to-liquids (CTL) plant, converts coal into synthetic crude oil to produce fuels and a broad range of chemicals.
