Michael D. Scott has been named an International Society of Automation (ISA) Fellow, a distinguished grade that is granted to ISA senior members in recognition of outstanding achievements in scientific or engineering fields. Mr. Scott received the award for exceptional contributions to the advancement of process safety lifecycle concepts and their sustainable application into the process industry. He cofounded Applied Engineering Solutions Inc. (aeSolutions), and currently serves as executive VP of global process safety technology. Mr. Scott holds a BS degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Maryland and an ME degree from the University of South Carolina. TriTec Seal LLC
