UAE FCC catalyst manufacturing facility completes Phase 1 W. R. Grace & Co. and JV partner Al Dahra Agriculture Co. marked the commissioning of a new catalyst logistics silo terminal (pictured) and the end of Phase 1 of construction for the first fluid catalytic cracking catalysts manufacturing facility in the Middle East (ME). Phase 2, detailed engineering, is underway, with operations expected to begin in 2018. The approximately $150-MM facility has been built on 150,000 m2 of land and is located in the Kizad Industrial Zone approximately 70 km outside Abu Dhabi, UAE.
