According to the API and Oil and Natural Gas Subsector Coordinating Council industry report, “Defense-in-Depth: Cybersecurity in the Natural Gas and Oil Industry,” this concern extends from upstream facilities and locations (e.g., wellheads and pipelines) through downstream assets such as oil refineries and fuel manufacturing plants.
