With the prominence in the oil and gas industry around sustainability, it is worthwhile to examine what it means to be “sustainable.” Following the logic of the word, it simply means “capable of being sustained” or “able to continue without intervention.” However, many people infer a set of attributes focused on a singular dimension of the concept.
